Here's an idea: Instead of wandering aimlessly through the parking lot flashing your cars lights/beeping its horn (or in case of dire confusion pushing your panic button-What?? It was an emergency sorta) Use your phones camera to remember where the heck you've left your car. Then instead of looking like a forgetful mess, you can pretend you're reading a text from someone cool like Lady Gaga or something while you're jogging your memory.
